The village I live is tiny and virgin say it's not cost effective to connect us so we only have BT. We run 7-8mb average which I thought was crap, but seeing these results maybe I should stop complaining. I understand Marv being so low as he's in the sticks but you need to get in touch with your ISP soph.

Yeah but I don't get throttled at peak times and as there is only a limited customer base I don't share bandwidth with other homes on the same exchange. Everyone has Sky or BT that's why they're slow at peak times. Also it's worth noting that small ISPs aren't targeted by MPAA/RIAA for copyright infringements.

Xilo/Uno Broadband has been the number 1 ISP on ispreview for ages, it is also a 5 star rating on speedtest/pingtest. I believe you get what you pay for.

BT have informed me there experiencing problems with the exchange in my area. It only took 4 days for them to return my e-mail, should be done in a day or so which means ill be back to normal service on live. so enjoy the peace and quiet whilst it lasts. Razz
