ME3 is 40 hours long (minor spoilers)

Bioware Social has posted the details of one of the first Mass Effect 3 reviews, done by German gaming magazine Gamestar. The review reveals some further details about the game, which you can check out below.

According to Gamestar, the game has between 15-20 hours for the main quest, with approximately 40 hours worth of gameplay time, including 90 minutes worth of cutscenes. A definitive ending will be shown with “no loose ends or cliffhangers,” but apparently there is “an interesting sequence after the end credits.”

Gamestar also claims that ME3 has over “100 scenes, conversations and/or events change depending on our choices after importing a save-game from ME2.” The RPG elements resemble that of ME1, while the level design feels more like those of ME2.”

The review also mentions a few details that were already revealed last week, such as the new planet scanning mechanic.

Mass Effect 3 is set to launch on March 6th, 2012. Not much longer!
