I hate thumbsticks

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a ham fisted clumsy twat when it comes to thumbsticks(they're too bloody small!), I have the sensitivity set to one when playing cod and still end up over shooting. I was looking for ways to improve this and today i bought some of these:

I've also bought some of these, but they are coming from the states and they're going to take three weeks to get here.



As a temporary measure I've ripped a rubber button off the top of one of my old tv remotes and stuck it to my aiming thumbstick. Do you think these are a good idea?. The theory behind them sounds solid.
Does anyone else have any other ideas to help out a ham fisted clan member?

my sticks are messed seems my bro uses the same controller and he has long sharp nails D:
so these might be a good idea rather than getting a new controller.

I bought the covers for about 3 quid off amazon, the extensions were about 8 quid i think with shipping from the states.

oo i just looked them up. $10 isnt bad but it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive ><
